Woven cloth from a thread count. Write the stripes in threads, pick a weave — plain, twill, basket, herringbone or your own draft — and it draws the interlacement thread by thread. Start from one of eleven ready-made checks, a sentence, or a photograph of a real cloth.
STRUCTUREThe same cloth, painted: wet, loose colour on textured paper. Brush controls for pigment, pooling, streak, pressure and paper. Change the sett and the painting follows.
