GeoPrint Mode Guide: Seamless Geometric Archetypes
Mode guide · Updated 23 August 2026
In short: GeoPrint generates procedural geometric patterns — mandalas, Voronoi cells, truchet arcs, fields and grids — evaluated on a mathematical torus, so every archetype is seamless by construction with no manual edge-matching.
What GeoPrint mode is for
GeoPrint is for abstract, geometric and generative-art-style patterns rather than representational motifs like plaid or florals. Because every sampler is evaluated on a 2-torus (the surface wraps in both directions mathematically), the tile meets itself exactly at every edge — there's no manual alignment step, and no risk of a visible seam from misaligned geometry.
Key controls
- Archetype — choose from a catalogued library of generative styles: mandalas, Voronoi cell structures, truchet arc tiles, flow fields, and grid systems.
- Seed + params — scale, density and complexity control the underlying generative "DNA" of the chosen archetype.
- Pre/post distortion — warp the UV space before or after generation without breaking the seamless tile contract.
- Canvas / wall-art export — a second use case beyond textile repeat: export a single large composition (non-repeating) sized for wall art or print-on-demand posters.
Who uses GeoPrint mode
Designers who want abstract, math-driven pattern variety without hand-drawing geometry, and POD sellers building generative-art product lines (posters, phone cases) alongside textile-repeat listings.
Try it live: GeoPrint is a Pro-and-above feature, with the full merged archetype catalog available in the app.

What does "seamless by construction" mean for GeoPrint specifically?
The pattern's underlying math is evaluated as if the canvas wraps onto itself (a torus), so there's no separate "make it tile" step — it's seamless from the first render, at any resolution.
Can GeoPrint make non-repeating wall art instead of a repeat pattern?
Yes — the canvas/wall-art export path produces a single large composition rather than a tileable repeat, for print-on-demand posters and similar products.
Is GeoPrint available on Free or Creator?
No — GeoPrint unlocks on the Pro plan, alongside Floral and PatternLab.
