What Canvas mode is for

Every other mode in The Plaid Studio is built around the seamless-tile contract: the output is designed to repeat edge-to-edge across fabric or a large surface. Canvas is the exception — it treats the same generative engines (primarily GeoPrint's archetypes) as the basis for a single, one-off composition, the way you'd approach a piece of generative art or a poster design rather than a textile repeat.

How it's different from a seamless export

No tiling constraint — the composition doesn't need to match itself at the edges, so distortion and framing can be pushed further for visual impact.
Sized for the final piece — export dimensions target the actual print (a specific wall-art size or poster format) rather than a repeat unit meant to be scaled and tiled by a printer.
Same underlying engines — it's not a separate generator; it's GeoPrint and related archetypes rendered for a different end use.

Who uses Canvas mode
